The Robot Book

While out and about with my family on the Friday before Father’s Day, I found this gem in antique shop. It was my Father’s Day gift to myself.

The Robot Book, by Robert Malone and edited by William Edward Maloney. It says it is a complete, illustrated history of robots, from Renaissance toys to space-age bionics, and was originally published in 1978. It is fun to read, and look at, and is a nice record of "the dream" of robotics in the late 70s.
